A Next.js 14 App Router site with intentional light/dark design, semantic HTML, MDX writing, and hardened headers. Content-driven via typed data layer.

Problem

Needed a central professional home that unifies engineering, security, and DevOps as one narrative.

Solution

Designed BUILD•DEPLOY•SECURE narrative with system diagrams, Build→Break→Fix lab, and recruiter-friendly CTAs.

Engineering Decisions

•App Router + SSG for SEO and speed over CSR
•Tailwind CSS vars for intentional dual theme, not inversion
•MDX for engineering notes — versioned as code

Security

•Secure headers: CSP-ready, X-Frame-Options DENY, HSTS, nosniff
•No client secrets, mailto fallback for contact, safe external links rel=noopener
•Input validation on contact form, no stack-trace leakage

Testing

Lighthouse CI, axe accessibility checks, manual keyboard navigation.

Deployment

Vercel with HTTPS, edge caching, canonical domain, OG image generation.

Lessons Learned

Performance and accessibility are features — they compound credibility.
